2010 will be Arctic Heli Skiing's third season of operations. We invite you to participate in a true adventure of exploration and discovery. First descents, naming runs and visiting peaks that have
never seen a human being before is what you will experience along with outstanding professional service and a cultural experience of a lifetime. Our program is run out of Klængshóll Lodge in Skíðadalur valley, or Raven Hill Lodge in Ski Valley
as it would translate to in English on the Troll Peninsula in Northern Iceland. The lodge is situated right in the middle of the best ski terrain and we fly right out of there with the closest runs
only 3 minutes away.

In 2010 we will be offering 4 day programs for private groups of 4 skiers or semi private groups of 8 or 12 skiers. These programs are custom built for those looking for a quick get away but
still giving you plenty of good skiing and time in case of bad weather or conditions. Please refer to our FAQ
section for detailed information. For those with less time on their hands our 1 day skiing programs might just be the perfect solution.

Day-to-day program overview
Day 1
Arrival in Akureyri, Iceland in the afternoon. Transfer to Klængshóll Lodge for a meet and greet, guest briefing and dinner. On the first evening you will have the chance to discuss
with your guide, make sure all your gear is in order and relax after your travels. For those with less time available, meeting on day 2 ready to ski is possible. This way you can fly in from the USA
or Canada and be skiing the same day.
Day 2-4
First descents, adventure and exploration is the name of the game. You will have the chance to participate in Icelandic skiing history by skiing in areas never before visited by skiers. Our 2010
season is dedicated to exploration and the opening of new terrain. You are invited to be a part of a team of explorers on a grand adventure. Evenings are spent at Klængshóll Lodge where
we feast on local dishes focusing on organic lamb, fish and game prepared by our gourmet chef. In case of bad weather and no flying we have the unique opportunity to visit for example Lake
Mývatn Nature Reserve with its steaming hot springs, volcano's and lava fields. Go Whale watching, sea angling or simply relaxing in one of many geothermal baths on the Troll Peninsula.
Day 5
We pack our bags in the morning and head out for our last day of skiing. After one more day of great turns and good times with friends we have lunch in the field and head home. After saying our
good byes to our new friends in Ski Valley we head back to Akureyri where we can catch a flight to Reykjavik or even connect to the Eastern seaboard that same day.
